Definitely a wonderful color of purple-blue feathers with the contrasting of red. A nice shot as it did indeed seem to be checking you out.

do they taste like chicken? just curious..lol. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this unique bird is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

beautiful composition and despite the lack of legs being displayed it doesnt matter as this particular structure works and is effective in its own right.The plumage is exquisite and is displayed well with the amount of light and sharp focus applied

I deep violet tone is stunning, this Swamphen does appear quite curios . You have photographed it very well with good focus, this image is clear exposure is good, the colors are so pretty and they appear natural. I appreciate the clear face and especially appreciate the clear eye complete with the reflective glint. Well composed to show the curious nature of this bird, well presented!

A very pretty bird with great colors. In Florida I think they call them purple gallinules. A nice composition but I bet you wish you had shot it as a vertical.
