A pretty good image. Focus is nearly pinpoint clear. I might have attempted this with a shorter image to get into the intricacies of the buds. Most of your focus is on the stick. Best wishes in your contest.

No need for a crop. I would have used a shorter lens and got closer unless you are using a point and shoot camera. In that case please disregard. Best wishes!

well I hate to have to change lenses all the time, I did just buy an new one that goes 18- 400 mm so we will see how that one works

very cool. the angle of the shot of this unusual plant is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
