cool capture. the angle of the shot of this dock walk, folks, buildings, water and sky view is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

a typical scene. The new blocks of flats right up to the water's edge using up all space, identical to all over the country, just down from my house, by the river we have a group of exactly the same as these. House large numbers but not quite sky-scratchers! something we are a mite short of. Tidied up paths. The EU caused a lot of work to be done in England. I am not sure it would have got done without them. Empty seats!

I meant, space is something we are a bit short of and these flats which have a name I forget at the moment, house large numbers but are still reasonable to live in. Sheffield has huge numbers of flats to house our citizenry for a long time.

Even though it seems to be totally man made and not a tree or grass in sight, I would walk here, because it looks very peaceful, the ocean view is always a nice place to be

Very many thanks for your nice review! On the other side there are trees but you need to remember this is a large city centre photo. The water you see is not an ocean! It is the River Mersey flowing into the Irish Sea on the right.

Nice work here Nik. I really like the point of view you captured as the leading lines take the viewer to the far reaches of the scene.

The colors, especially on the buildings are a beautiful shade of burnt orange beautifully contrasting with the gray browns of the walkway and the blues of the water and the background sky.

A great entry for the contest Nik and I wish you all the best in the voting ~ Steve

I love this. The lines bring my eyes to the vanishing point beautifully. The gold on the buildings and the deep blues in the sky let me know the time of day.

This is a very nice view with great parallels disappearing in the distance. Beautiful colors of the old building captured well. Focus and clarity are spot on. Good luck!

This is a beautiful scene and a wonderful entry for this contest, he structures on the left and the water on far right with the walkway leading us into this scene.its a perfect angle of shot, well focused, this image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct for all colors and tones. The people bring life and give scale .
Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Good to use people in this as it gives a sense of scale and also a bit of human interest, looks as if they are obeying social distance even last year...Brian
