The title of the work lends its self perfectly to the photo. I really like how the bird is in such contrast to the earthy tones in the middle and background. Beautiful photo!

A well mastered composition with good structure with nice balance between subject an background including the appropriate space in front right of the Heron to allow viewers perception to be that of movement or at least anticipated movement of the Heron from left to right

a lovely wildlife capture, the pin sharp focus and clarity
really pick up the detail in the birds plumage, sharp eye and beak, the heron stands out nicely against the dappled water, nice work on the white balance , lovely image.
