Very cool. The angle of the shot of these cool eyes is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The image Is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I like the minimalist approach to the artwork. The eyes are definitely the focal point of the piece. I think that the color of amber in the iris is a nice. However, I think it needs a little more of the darker color, as seen on the cats left eye, and the it fading into the brighter colors there, and a few radial, slightly curved lines coming from the pupils, that would add some depth, curvature to them and really would make them better.
The highlights are nice, if the light was coming in directly at his nose level. Maybe a hint of this nose would have made it better for making it more realistic.
The composition is balanced on the canvas.
Still a good simplistic painting of the eyes.

Walter's eyes are scary! First of all, the cat looks to be totally black. You know what they say about black cats. The eyes are piercing! The orange color makes it a great painting for Halloween. Do cats even have orange eyes? Excellent work.

Lol. Thanks. He is really a big sweet scaredy cat. We have had 7 black black cats and they are the best temperament. 🙂
