Your good eye for patterning is obvious. I love the bright blue against the greys of the street pavement and tarmac street and the squares the blue is standing on adds to the patterning. I love patterns too!

The vivid colors of the bikes capture the attention of the viewer. The turquoise glows like neon-light. Your PoV is interesting. The perspective is stunning. The photo is well focused and exposed and has perfect depth. Colors and light are realistic. The bikes are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Chuck
A beautiful & eye-catching image of this row of Citibikes their blue paintwork standing out from the shades of black, grey's & whites on this otherwise black & white photograph. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

    Hi Chuck,
Things are not too bad in Ireland we are slowly coming out of Lock-down
Up to 6pm yesterday 23rd June, there have been 23,296 cases of Covid 19 with 1,726 deaths...
We are advised to stay home with time out for a walk or drive upto 12 miles away. I can now go shopping by myself wearing a mask. We are also advised to wear masks indoor where it's not possible to say 6ft 6inches apart. I don't think I will be leaving the island this year.
I hope you & your family are all well.

We are doping the best we can. Not sure you know that my wife passed 4 months ago from her atypical parkinsonian syndrome. So its been really hard being alone. My son is in Oregon and my daughter is now back from upstate and is 20 minutes away. NY is slowing coming out of lockdown - but I think we will spike again since people are not being careful about distancing and masks - like what happened in other states. Only time will tell. Stay safe.

    Chuck,
May I offer my sincere condolences on your poor wife's Passing. Expecially at these times when you were sepearted from your family & the treat of Covid 19 hanging over you.. I hope & pray they find an effective Vaccine sooner rather than later. As like you I fear people are now beginning to ignore the restrictions to a degree. I hope too your Elections pass without anymore riots or unwanted deaths... & may your desired candidate win!

Cool,Chuck!
Are these the 'rental' bikes like the one's they're trying to work up public enthusiasm for down in Albany?
Your photo of this line of them makes for an attractive and interesting picture,my friend!

Thanks Sean and yes the "rental bikes".

People around here were never all that 'crazy about' these things and I hear that now many of the overly fearful types think the'll catch the virus from them!
( The ones in Albany will prob'ly end up going to the smelter before a lot of the junk cars I like to take pictures of do! : ) )

Well your patience certainly paid off on this one Chuck. This is a great photo for the Seeing Blue Photo Contest.

The blue colors stand out with a nice sense of drama and the point of view to catch them all lined up really adds a nice element to the scene.

Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the voting Chuck ~ Steve
