The really great effect of this one is the angle of the photo. I know how tall she is so this is normally the angle. yet you have zoomed in to capture the drama of the face and crown and just enough of the raised arm with torch.
I bet this statue which is covered with polished brass was absolutely stunning when first presented to the United States.

i spent a year in NYC for a job and the apartment they put me in Jersey City was cool. every morning when i walked out the apartment i was greeted with the view of the statue of liberty across the bay. the only thing that sucked is that i never got the chance to go out there. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the statues facial is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

I am so glad you put up this photo. It might be the next one to toppled in this copy of the Russian Revolution all over again. It is a magificent statue. If God is good, one day I will see it!

Well your letting me view an iconic statue in an americium that is under lock down. I love the view and the curves on it, she is sorta floating away before us. Cool photo. If your master of photoshop, I am curious what this would look like with a black sky?

Great shot! Really clear and crisp. Love the simplicity and the white backdrop. I really like the close up too. To bad you couldn't get her flame in as well. Still ...amazing shot!
