spiders and beasties are the in thing at the moment, so you are in with a popular choice. Beautiful colours overlaid with a spider. My son hates spiders and when one appears on our walls, I have to go and get it out for him!

Nice bright and bold colors in the negative space supporting the spider.
The web looks good, but it would have been a better of a few of the supporting strands of the web had gone off the page.
The spider has all the correct body feature, except maybe for the jaws.
Overall a good piece.

Does not look that tiny to me and it would scare my wife to death! Your fine and central composition offers us a good look at your spider. Like the colourful background. Nicely created!

This is surely a fun piece for the contest. Pleasantly spooky spider, but that fantastic wall of color that it is fixated is a really gorgeous piece of abstract art. They make a good pairing. Good luck in the contest.
