Amazing photo....the striking purple colour of the flower is awesome...the yellow centre is giving marvellous contrast...reflections on the petals are looking very good...and very dark background has made it pop up...excellent composition

This is indeed a beautiful water lily with the vibrant purple colors of the petals and the shiny yellow center. With the all dark background the flower is standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the petals of the Water Lily, and the exposure is just perfect.
I also like the tight framing and the centered position of the flower. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Barbara, and with an excellent DOF.

The photo is pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details in the petals of the Water Lily, and the exposure is just perfect.
I also like the tight framing and the centered position of the flower. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Barbara, and with an excellent DOF.
