This is really beautiful! I love the layout of this piece and really adds to the overall composition and lighting of the photo. I love the sky you captured and the pop of red collects the piece perfectly!

Although I like the view of this one,i feel a vertical format would have done this more justice, still its an interesting view and like the decking view...Brian

I love how the clouds and the color of them balance the wooden deck, it allows the image to feel like it goes on forever. There is a natural solace here. I wonder where are the people to fill the deck, and where did they go? It paints a story, great photo, well done.

Glad you enjoyed my photo! Very many thanks for your kind review. It was an evening shot and most people had gone inside for dinner or were in bars.

Excellent smooth colors in the sky, with that soft texture completely disrupted by the smooth deck below. A huge contrast of elements between top and bottom, with some great symmetry giving this photo some design elements along with some abstraction. I like how you photographed this portion of the ship also because you have to take a second to figure out where you are.

I am very grateful for your nice detailed review and your big 6! Glad you enjoyed my photo!!

It does look large based on the angle of the shot. That aspect is good. However, it seems to be lacking in richness, or depth of color, is the deck really that bland looking?
Don't get me wrong, it is a nice image, but not a wow, that is what the deck looks like on the Queen Mary, image. Being the ship that it is, I would have expected more, some how, know what I mean?.
Thank you for sharing.

Have a good day,
cheers,
Lucien

What a very cool perspective. Makes quite an initial impact! I love how the direction of the of the clouds in the sky mimic the direction of the decking planks. It all really sucks one forward into the scene. Well scene and well done. Good luck in the contest.

Sharp eye. Perfect angel looking down the wooden deck. The dark clouds add to the depth of the image. Amazing sharp detail of the wooden deck. Good color, Perfect framing. Well done.

This image is well centred but for me, there is too much decking, especially when viewed on a large screen - but that is just my personal view. The details are really clear and sharp, appears to be nicely levelled across the image.
