I think the gulls are beautiful , this one has certainly Offered you a wonderful pose as it stands looking back over it's shoulder.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct , it's colors and tones appear natural. Well defined face, clear eye and bill. Well composed and presented!

nice capture. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of this bird and water mn background is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Mary,
A beautiful picture of this Pacific Gull perched on the Jetty in Proper Bay, Port Lincoln it's head turned to get a better look at you. It's white head & breast standing out from it's dark background, while it's yellow legs stands out from the sky reflected on the sea on the bay.. Beautiful composition, framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
