This is very interesting. It's usually the most simple of things that we overlook in our day to day life, that can become quite alluring.
Definitely showing rust, so brief - tick! :)
I like the circular section sits on the third line, then all the other 'lines' ascend to that point drawing the eye in to it. And the very, almost devoid colour palette, allowing the rust to take over.
All the best in the competition. :)

Keep creating,

Proven one for the contest, just overall feel there needs to be a bit more in this, perhaps a slightly wider perspective giving the viewer a bit more detail...Brian

I like what you captured it this photo. The lighter texture of colors leading toward the darker rusty colors. The patterns look like wheel spokes. Sharp clear image. Perfect framing. Well done.

This is a great contest entry. It shows not only lots of texture, but is visually interesting and pleasing to the eye. I like the way you placed the focal point to the left third of the composition, and were still able to achieve great detail and range of color. Great abstract piece as well.

A very nicely composed image. The rusted axel and radiating patterns in the millstone are beautiful. I like the way the red of the rust has spread into the stone. Best of luck in the contest.

Well Hello Rusty Sunshine!
I saw this on the front page and I knew immediately it had to be yours!! ;)
I too like the latter, textures and Earth tone coloring.
I see a sun with light rays.
I like your close up, angle, sharp focus and superb exposure.
What a great find and capture!
;)

A beautiful picture of the rust seeping out from the bolt in the centre of Mill stone adding a rusty brown to the stone's golden colour. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The image has good textures, and the rust color is presented very nicely. I like the metal in the middle that caused the discoloration of the stone.
I do think showing a little more of the sun by burst pattern would have made it even better.
I overall it has a nice color harmony throughout the image.

Have good day, & be safe.
Cheers.

A great image for the contest,it reminds me of an image of the sun with it's rays. An interesting pattern, you've captured especially the texture of this old stone, and the bleeding of the rust definitely adds a nice color to it. Good off center framing, excellent focus and exposure, wish you all the best in the contest!
