I like the soft muted vintage like colors which remind me of old art posters my aunt had hanging in her living room and kitchen.
I like the three standing tall as the one lone one droops it's tired head.
Nice details and unique style.

This is a refreshing take on your take on yellow rose buds. By using your black sharpie it gave the yellow roses more of a dimension. Great work!

Yes, a whimsical illustrative drawing. I think several things would have made it better. The greens should be more vibrant and less muted in color green.
I think a cool color other then white, in the negative space would also help the color in the flower richer, pushed them towards the observer of the piece.
A little green around the base of the yellow buds would help with that affect as well.
A very nice start, to me it needs little work.

Nevertheless, her three sisters in the foreground remain in beauty without realizing the faith of the rose in the background who suffers her faith in silence. Nevertheless, the water-coloring is well done. The pencil lines are clean. Their swing is intriguing. The perspective is realistic. The roses are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I aren't very succinct (comfortable?) at critiquing artwork as photography, I have just gone back to TAFE to learn how to
'draw' and become a bit more creative outside my comfort zone of photography, so definitely not in a position to 'judge' a piece as such - I just know when I am drawn to things. :D
In this - the colour, the style, the use of the watercolours, beautiful mark making. Just love it. An image, that just makes me feel 'good'. Thank you.

Ann..thanks so much for your encouraging input and the great rating!! I too am just getting back to drawing and painting after 30 years. Jewelry making is my main creative outlet.🙂
