I think the he painted one of his master pieces and allowed you to photograph it. You did the master justice. Your mixed media is perfect. The colors are striking. That the colors run in the same diagonal direction as the silhouetted landscape sat the right is breathtaking. The photo is excellent focused and adequately treated with mixed media. The reflections are superb. The masterpiece is expertly composed and framed.

I just love this stuff. Good composition with that single strip of dark on the left and the dark land mass on the right. It really grounds this beautiful scene. This photograph reveals just how much of a naturally abstract world we really live in when we can see it instead of just looking at it. Reasons for my five star vote.

Thank you for your review and commentary. You know Carl people ask me how I get the shots that I do. I tell them, just as you have mentioned, I get out of my head and into my senses. It is when I stop "looking" that I see. I zone out of my mind and become one with the "what is". It is then that I "see what is staring me in the face". Then I simply push the cell phone button when I am told to do so. That is why I can never take credit for any of my photos. I am simply the "pusher of thee button". You are welcome. Glad you can see, it really shows. I call it the 'conversation' with the painting. At that point it time the only thing that exists is the painting telling me what it wants to become.
