a fantastic stop action of this singing toad for his or her lover; outstanding sharp focus and details; it would be unfair if this shot will not be the contest winner;

OMG! What a superb shot of the singing toad! Looks like he is about to burst:) This is a wonderful shot of the flower. You have tiamed it well. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing! Good luck!

WOW! Thank you so much Seshadri ! I'm super thrilled by your six star rating and am so honored by it! The toad's throat does look a bit stretched when it's singing doesn't it? Thanks again!!

Hi Lise, I can understand why you would want to learn the calls of birds and frogs too. It's always fun to know what you're listening to. Have fun and enjoy!........
To get a six from the creator of the contest is an incredible honor. Thank you SO MUCH for the incredible rating !!!

Huh! I can't re-call if I've ever heard toads sing other than in the Spring. That's interesting info to know. Thanks for the wonderful review!

A very good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine, full and off-centre composition offers us a good look at your toad. Being a Brit, I have never scene a toad like that over here! I am completely baffled by that huge ball?! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

When the toad sings in the Spring he fills his throat with air and it puffs outward.. The throat then vibrates and makes a trilling sound. That's what you're seeing in the image. Thanks for the great review!

Very many thanks for your explanation!

A brilliant picture of this American Toad serenading to attract a mate his throat blown out like a balloon his eyes watching you while the water flows around his feet & the light dance on the water's surface. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This mixed media is intriguing. The air filled vocal sack is especial intriguing. The close up is well focused and exposed, has good depth, and is adequately treated with mixed media. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realistic look of the colors. The frog is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Love it when toads sing their springtime serenade! I wanted to add filters but keep things on a realistic note. Not to much filters, but just enough. Thank you for the wonderful review!
