This bird looks fierce. The Heron seems ready to spear whatever food comes into its reach. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The lightroom enhancements are adequate. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The bird is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

need the theme music from jaws...baaaadum....baaaaadum..badum badum badum..lol..yeah i can imagine it. cool capture. the angle of the shot of this bird on the hunt is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appeaing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

The shape and form of this heron is simply amazing. I can see the excellent detail and expression in its eyes I love how you captured the true beauty of this feathered friend. I especially love how you've shown the outlined wings with deep shades of color. Very well done Eileen.

The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is spot on.

Your DOF is spot on and the stop action tells a great story of someone's demise. The lighting is outstanding and the construction makes stop action seamless. Precise focus is sharp and give the scene a 3D feel.
