First of all, best of luck in the contest. The pastoral scene is soothing and peaceful. The dark center could be the road that leads us to a small village and a pub or tavern. The imaginary stories this scene invokes could be endless depending on the viewers personal experiences. bright soft colors remind me of springtime in the glenn.

A nice piece of landscape art in your chosen medium.The clouds are particularly realistic with wonderful blending techniques.The light that falls upon the grassy area is quite exquisite and makes this presentation even more appealing

A very good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine 50/50 composition offers us interesting and contrasting views of both sky and land. Like the hilly look of the land and the blues in the sky. Well painted and good luck!
