Very well done photography and a very pretty graceful looking bird. At first glance, I thought that the bird was balanced on the head of a snake- which to me the shape of the driftwood branch resembles. I also admire the 'impressionism' art style look of the background.

Your title caught my attention. This is a sweet little bird reminds me of a sparrow. I like the style of capture, that branch is also quite attractive. The shoulders are a little blurred but that could be my viewing on a Smarphone. (All I have at the moment) the rest has a good focus detail on feathers in wing, back and head. I like how you manage to blurr the background for framing. That's something I have not mastered. Good framing and balanced. The light touching his beak is a real eye catcher making overall another good capture.

A beautiful composition Pat showing the little bird well against the green mottled background. Your focus on the eye of bird is sharp and the colors appear very natural.

Beautiful photo....I simply love the composition...the bird is looking pretty..the branch on which the bird is sitting is very artistic...focus and clarity is spot on...the blurry green background is making the bird and the branch stand out...thanks for sharing

Pat this is just another beautiful image as only you could take. I absolutely love the perch, the duo toned colors, and the beauty and detail shown in this bird. The single perch in what made this image very special.
I really love this one!
Outstanding capture!

She found herself a perfect outlook. The pose of the bird is intriguing. She looks proud and confident. Your photo is excellently focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail and at the body and plumage of the bird. The green color of the shallow background emphasizes the bird exquisitely. The bird is excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the little female Dark Eyed Junco perched on the driftwood branch, the light sparkling in her eye while highlight her plumage. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
