You are certainly more flexible than I am. I might get down but I would never be able to get up. The scene developed perfectly for this contest. The macro shot brings us into a tiny world of fungi. The DOF is short and effective. The blur surrounding the Fungi really helps sharpens the focus on the central star. Glad you were able to get down and up to share this shot.

A very nice perspective that shows the gills of the mushroom quite well. I think that you should pulled out those blades of grass that obscure your subject. Best of luck in the contest.

Your composition is so eye catching to the viewer. I feel like I have entered a fairy tale and I am very small!! I love the detail and seeing underneath the mushroom...so cool! I also like the blurred affect! What a perfect entry for this contest...good luck!

Beautiful capture.... composition is very good..the mushroom is looking awesome with texture on the lower side nicely captured...the leaves with soft blur in the front add to the charm of the photo...overall very impressive...good luck for the contest

Your capture is interesting. The head of the toadstool reminds of the swinging skirt of a dancer. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of texture and detail in the focused area. The toadstool is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
