I've always liked to find this particular mushroom display in the wild. I am facinated by the way they grow like that. Nice capture, like the light green left side framing. Glad you lightened it up, I can just imagine the day you found these was sans sun. Good luck with the contest.

Learn something new every day. I have seen these but didn't know anything about them. The lighting and focus are great as it allows us to see detail and shapes well. The tight crop allows the tree to become a great canvas to display the fungus.
