The light through the petals is superb. The flower seems to have a little lamp inside. The dark background amplifies the glow remarkably. Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. I am impressed by the sharpness of detail. The flower is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

beautiful capture...what a lovely colour of the flower...the composition is excellent...my first impression was that of a painting,....i like the lit up petals...the focus and clarity is superb....the dark backgroung is making the flower pop up....good luck for the contest....

Not sure it could be any sharper focused. The brilliant blue illuminated by the sunlight is almost iridescent. The single bloom with the black background allows it to jump of the screen. Cropped perfectly to allow the bloom to star in the scene. Real beauty.
