A very nice image that is well composed and shown in excellent detail. The nymphs have that same orange and black coloration that makes the adults so attractive. Best of luck in the contest.

Great cluster and find of these bugs with excellent detail and color. Although I find this somewhat frightening, it is also unique and interesting as an image.

Your photo is well focused, exposed and has good depth. Those bugs are pesky. They killed all my milkweeds a couple of years ago and the invaded my prickly pears. Your photo is well focused, exposed and adequately treated with mixed media. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The tall format emphasizes the cluster of bugs profoundly. The bugs are excellent placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

It must be a dream for a photographer to find a cluster of these colorful bugs. You have pictured them so well, and they are standing out from all the greens in an excellent way.
The photo is very sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in all the bugs. The exposure is spot on.
The format is perfect and the cluster of bugs have got a very fine placement within the frame. A great looking and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
