Congratulations and indeed a great picture for the contest. A nice capture and well framed photo. It is heartbreaking to see forest fire and wildfire on the rise but it is also required to take picture and spread the words for awareness. People have to see what forest fire does to our nature.

What a terrible and tragic site to view. That so much of damage to property and loss of lives is the story we keep hearing year after year. Good luck in the contest!

This is a very dramatic photograph showing the complete devastation that a forest fire can create. The clear blue sky contrasts well with the blackened trees. Good luck in the contest

The sight of a wildfire is always chilling. Nature will need a long time to recover from the devastation. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The mixed media treatment is appropriate. I appreciate the sharpness of detail through, and the realism of light and color. The contradiction of the burned trees and the turquoise sky is stunning. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

This is a good photo documenting this horrific fire.
The photograph and the story of the magnitude of the fire, cause and the aftermath are visual enhanced by the added effect. This helps the viewer to better understand as to how the fire began and the aftermath.

This is a good entry for this contest,. It is truly sad to see the aftermath of the forest fire and it's remaining burnt trees that cover the hill. Your scene is well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Yes, man has certainly impacted on the landscape before you! Your fine notes tell us of a sad tale. Wonder if it was caused by some form of industrial negligence? Quite unsettling to see so many dead tree trunks. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!
