it looks similar to another pic you posted longtime ago; very impressive number; what attracts them on this line; almost similar to the Hitchcock birds;

Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review on these Starlings ~Etourneau sansonnet that are smaller than the Crows/Rooks in the Hitchcock film that I think were Corbeau freux,. The starlings collect on these wire or on branch before moving off in unison flying together like ballet dancers in a Corps de ballet but in the air called a mermeration.

Nice capture of the starlings , this shows how the starlings appear in groups, here they all landed on the wires. I like the way they are silhouetted against the blue sky. Well focused, clear image with well used low light. Well composed and presented!

I find these guys noisy so you always hear them before you see them, here they are gathering to leave for the winter and there are a few in a flock, I love it when they line up like this,
