Nice colours here, it is great to be able to use other ideas from other artist, well done, the cactus look great here to me, a great creation for children to look at and get their imagination flowing

Thank you so very much for your complimentary review! I hardly post art these days, so it has been a delight to get this positive response. A version of this will be the book cover to My Grandfather's Magic, the third book in My Grandfather's Horses Trilogy. The second is My Grandfather's Gold. (My Grandfather's Horses is for sale at Xlibris Publishers' online book store under my fiction author name, Victoria Auberon. I decided to alter my name due to an unfavorable documentary about my cult parents who I write about in my FAR bio. Any publications under the name Daphne Oberon will be outdated. https://www.xlibris.com/bookstore/.) Have a lovely day!

Hey Daphne,

Another very well done work of digital art. The color contrasts are very eye catching and really stand out. I like the dark horse in front of the lighter cactus and violet flowers on the tree branches.

I think your title is spot on for this one. Great work Daphne. Stay safe and healthy ~ Steve

As always I admire your construction and colour choices. The moon and it's light are attractively highlighting the stallion main and tail and you have caught a true moonlight colour toning resting on the rest of your composition. The purple flowers add a lightness and as you say that cacti impressionism really works. Well done. Will there be a story with this?

this looks really amazing and atmospheric. the night image is mighty fine and full of delightful detail. the whole image really comes together and you did a masterful job, mixing the two styles together. you have made such a wonderful composition for sure.

I am so pleased you liked it. I wonder what other hand drawn content from that artist might go well with my style of digital art. In this one actually, I could imagine a couple tiny three quarter view barrel cactus in the foreground-- or does that become too much like a cactus garden? Not sure... well, actually, if they were small and unassuming enough, maybe just to break up the ground. Also, in other compositions, logs and fallen branches with interesting texture and knot holes might be fun but the detail of branches would be hard to extract, so very basic... different boulders with black and white granite flecking and or any other small, lumpy shapes perhaps. Thanks again for the inspiring review!

Shame I'm out of 6's. Love it. The facial expression is excellent. The body form and language is excellent. The depth is excellent. The details is excellent. The shading is excellent. The blend of the colors is excellent. The creation is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and awesome work overall (clapping)

Quite an attractive and interesting looking image posted here! Your fine and dramatic composition offers us an enjoyable night nature view. Like the prancing horse and green cactus. Nicely created!
