Although, its wings are battered, this warrior appears well protected. The metallic shine of its body is impressive. I like that you did not tried to hid we the damage of the fragile wings. Your photo is perfectly focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realism of light and color. Even the vines within the transparent wings are sharp. The insect stands well out from the shallow background. Your photo is well composed. The Dragonfly is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful picture of this Pond Warrior perched on the reeds in the sunshine it's gossamer wings outspread the light reflected on them & showing off the damage to their tips as the knocks of life happened. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
