This is indeed an image with a strong visual impact because of the vibrant colors, and it almost looks like the dragon is ready to jump out of the picture and attack me. I am sure this would look great in black and white, but I really like it in these colors.

It is easy to see that this is done paying very good attention to even the smallest details, and it is so many fine lines and shapes to be seen.

The format and framing is perfect, and I like that the head of the dragon is placed at the top It is a very fine balance in the composition. A truly great looking and well done drawing Brenda, and I wish you luck with the contest.

This looks Great,Brenda!
I don't know ( or care! ) anything about 'zentangle art' but drawings and paintings of real or imaginary big Reptilian beasts?
YEAH,I like them! A LOT!

How delightfully golden and detailed! Also, what amazing detail! It would be so fun to have an A4 poster of this to frame! My supreme admiration!

This is an interesting composition.
The attention to detail and variations throughout the art piece is very good.
The colors are complimentary and create a high energy to the Dragon. Good work.

Wonderful mixed media painting with a scary lady dragon Amarillo. It is probably great in the black and white version, but this colored version is most likely more lively. The details are nicely presented.

This dragon is fascinating. It mesmerizes and dazzles the viewer with its colors and all the shapes and lines floating around. This fabulous animal seams to emerge from a blaze and breathes fire itself.
Your attention to detail is impressive. The piece is carefully colored. The shades of color are in harmony with each other. The head of the deity is especially impressive. The sharp teeth and the fierce, slanted eyes stand out. The framing is adequate.
The dragon is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
I see the Zentangle shapes and lines, but I thought so far that this special kind of drawing allows only black and white drawings. Is coloring part of Zentangle or did you invented a new personal style?

Thank you for your review and indepth comments and enquiry... so supportive..... Zentangle as far as I found out was initially black and white and that's the inventors intention. I gather that colouring in has become popular with ready made books. I did this as a bit of experimental work making the original black and white which I still have then I felt it would be exciting to colour, which I did, then I used that image to see how a yellow layer might alter my colours, i was surprised and pleased at the result.

Wow, that's some dragon. You definitely hit the spot for the contest - great entry and good luck. This looks huge - how big is it? Wonderful technique and it feels like he (or is it a she?) is going to jump right off the page at me. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for reviewing. Well at the moment it's A4 but plans to print A2 poster by request. I think it will be fine. Done big prints from smaller works before and always seem to work.
