I skipped this photo at first glance, but it came up again and I took time to really look and read the description. And WOW... it is fantastic. The photo speaks a million words! The delicate art of fishing is truly displayed in your photo. I love this... it further teaches me not to judge a book by its cover. I love your travel logs. This is a totally fascinating script of a society many of us will never share in. The scene is captured well and I love the reflection of the fisherman as he works. It looks like a hazy day which is great for fishing.

yeah that is wild how they operate that..bet that is interesting to watch. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot this skilled fisherman is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

A great shot that shows both the unusual technique in propelling the boat but also the conical net they use to catch the fish. A well composed shot with fine colors and a nice reflection.

Fred,
A beautiful & interesting picture of the Burmese Fisherman propelling his boat using his left hand & leg to oar the boat while he stands on his right leg & holding on the conical fish net with his right hand behind him. His reflection & the sky above both reflected on the lake's glistening surface. The lake is framed by the trees growing along it's shores & the misty mountains behind them. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
