Good to see you posting Chuck.

Good eye for seeing this one. The milkweed seeds look like small comets whizzing through the air. Nice focus and placement in the frame.

Great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the voting ~ Steve

Milkweed is a fascinating plant. It was designed to spread it's seeds on the wind. The silky white threads are caught by the breeze and send it's future generations to a new destination. The actual plant is a real friend to monarch butterflies. The cropped frame has immortalized this seed that will soon be on it's way to who knows where.

Pollenating is when a Bee carries a pollen gran from one plant to another to pollenate it so seeds can form & ripen.

This is very cool. I love the bright white colors on top of the more neutral ones. It creates a really nice balance. Your combination of textures is very cool. Great capture!

Those seeds are excellently captured. Your close-up looks almost abstract. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of derail. The seeds are excellently placed within the frame. The tight crop is sufficient. The composition is balanced.
