What a great image BFF. The pose is wonderful and the focus and color is spot on. The position in the frame is just right.

Looks very similar to our White Heron - lovely closeup portrait Eileen with excellent white balance and exposure. The focus is sharp on the birds eye and the background is nicely blurred to complement the bird.

This is indeed a beautiful portrait of a White Heron, and you have captured the eye so well. I also like the close and personal approach and the delicate light brown colors of the background. The bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is really sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. The white balance and exposure is perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo, and the placement of the bird within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Eileen, and with an excellent DOF.

A very nice shot that is perfectly exposed for the white plumage. I like the S curve of the neck and the crisp detail in the eye. A well composed image with great colors.
