Nice composition.
The focus of the eyes and clarity is good.
The choices of color is complimentary.
And, the attention to detail with the techniques of pointillism throughout the picture in doing the light and shadows is very good.
I have always loved pointillism.

pointillism is one of my favorite ways to draw, it forces you to really look at the subject, the structure of the object or scene and the colors,that are there as you dissect and then reconstruct what you are looking at.

An excellent pointillist piece of art, Lucien. Wish I had a six left for you. The close up view is very affecting and your expert use of this rendering technique beautifully brings out the character of the lion it an expressive way. So very well done!
