This had to take hours and hours to do using pointism! Whew, it's great though. The details of each bird is exact. You certainly brought out their power as well as being tender as in feeding the young ones. Amazing shading and I like how you have the moon and trees as part of the eagle. Great job with the owls. yes, these take a lot of time. In the study aspect and then in the excitation of the rendering. Yes, there must be a trillion dots in this one and it to a month to plan and draw. if you like thsi drawing you should take the tiem to look at the rest of this book.

Incredible!! I have only seen one other artist on FAR that did this type of artwork and it was not near as extensive as this is. Did you count your dots and time invested? That would be so interesting to know----of course, to count your dots as you go would probably double/triple your time to completion. This is really an exceptional piece of artwork and truly wish I had a 6 to give as this is most deserving. Such an exciting piece to view, a thrill!!

just knowing you like it that much means a lot. appreciate your time and comments. i beleive that there a about a dozen trillion, or more in this composition ( did not count them a but hay there are a lot of them little suckers!)

This is fabulous,...I love big birds and painting them, but you can probably get even more detail if you do them in pencil.
