I would have never thought that a space like this would hold in tact with the blowing sand in the desert.
What a need little hide away- great shot . It is ashame the sky wasn't more colorful this time at evening

A neat "movie" picture. I had a two week trip planned to do the whole National Park circle, starting in AZ, but thanks to Covid it was cancelled. I'm really hoping I get to see the beautiful west in 2021, or beautiful photos like this one will have to suffice.

This looks like a nice place to get out of the sun in this lovely scenic landscape! The rock formations in the distance are interesting. I like the red color of the rocks and ground. Very nicely done!

The view into this shelter is interesting, but I would not go into the cave. It looks as if the ceiling will break down soon. Your photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The photo is well composed and framed. The shelter is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Interesting view and often seen in western films, looks a tad leaning in this but only slightly good range of dof in this i might have got nearer to that shelter and took a photo looking towards that rock but at a lower level, but its easy for me to say looking in on this, nice view though still...Brian

This is a great looking shot of the desert shelter!. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Nik,
An interesting picture of Monument Valley & the rock shelter showing the effects of eons & eons of erosion on the desert landscape. The overcast sky adds to the sense of wonder & power of Nature, while creating a contrasting backdrop.
Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

Interesting composition.
The focus and clarity of good.
The close up lets the viewer see the details of the desert shelter and the surrounding area. The colors are complimentary. And, the background adds to the history of the photo.
good shot.
