The shadows in this photograph take so much away from the delicate nature of the hibiscus. If light was shining directly on the flower, the viewers could see all the details. The placement in the frame is great. And the middle pink area is beautiful. I just wish the lighting was different. Thank you so much for sharing, I look forward to seeing more photos soon.

thanks Lauryl for the comments,can see your point of view but this time i beg to differ,think the shadows add a bit of character to the flower,if it had been in direct sunlight i think it would have been to bright thanks cleo for the good comments

This is a beautiful bloom. I like that you left the little black spots on the petals. That shows us that the Hibiscus is visited by bugs. It's always such a treat to see images of the hibiscus, this is a flower that isn't even brought to Alaska . I like the five white petals with the red in the center . Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, I see good detail in each of the petals and that hibiscus center shows clear! Well composed , good use of light and shadows, well presented!
