This is an interesting country composition.
Love the perspective and framing of the trees along the road. The details add to the mystery of the frost covered trees amid the mist.
Good focus and clarity.
Nice Shot and road to walk on.

Funny, me too. However when I came back decades later it did felt little nostalgic. ( That is not the road on the photograph) currently I live thousands of miles away, different continent. Sometimes it feels like at the end of the world too., although the outdoor is interesting.

I am not sure about imagination, I have lived in places like this, and they led to our refugee camp on the Lincolnshire Wolds, or to the village school in Elsham I attended miles and miles away over the Runways, fields and dales. Actually I was a child and did not judge it, just remember the nice parts, and those frosty mornings when there was a frosty hoar on everything.

Jirina,
A beautiful picture of this boreen with grass growing up it's centre the bare branched trees on either side encrusted with thick haw frost sparkling in the light the morning mist hiding the distance the puddles coved with thin ice. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I love a good composition and this photo has one. The leading lines of the dirt takes you into your image. Theses trees are marvelous and the fog adds a mystery to the photo.

This is a 6 stars photo Jirina, but I am afraid I have none left to give. I think this is a truly beautiful scene with the contrasts between the frosty trees and the golden ground, and all set against a misty background. It is also great leading lines bringing the viewer into the picture.
The photo is sharp but still has a lovely softness to it, but it is also sharp and well defined details to be seen in the trees. The exposure is perfect.
The format is very good and with the placement of the country road, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
