I recognized this as a Willow Tree, I have three of the angel holding the puppy, one for each of my Goldens I have lost. It's a beautiful piece, made even lovelier with your enhancements!

Looks like and sounds like, from your notes, that this image is from one mother to another. And why not as mothers are always needed in some capacity or another! Nicely taken!

These figurines are always done so well and full of individual meaning. You have showcased this one perfectly, Annie, with nuanced lighting and a very effective and appropriate background. Very well done!

Hey Av!
Wow, what a wonderful photo you have taken of your figurine! This is a beautiful sentiment from your mother in law and shows so much emotion. Thanks for sharing Av, I hope you are doing well!

You are so good at this type of photography annie which i feel nobody even comes close on here, this one also works for you as a reminder of somebody who was close to you, that i feel is the worst thing about this awfull virus is makes you reflect on past times, good and bad.
Normanally we even if retired go about our normal lives but due to being home more it makes us reflect more, its difficult to keep a balance of things at the moment, keep safe...Brian

This sculpture is lovely. The sweetness of the giver shows within. Your photo is perfect focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. Your use of light is outstanding. The colors and the topaz lens effects are superb. The mixed media is excellently composed and framed.

a very beautiful figurine of this mother holding her lovely child reminding of a happy event, the birth of your grandchild and a very sad event, the death of your mother in law:
