Interesting wildlife photo. It's surprising you didn't disturb the fawn that in itself is great. Nice exposure and the focus is sharp. Wonderful details with snow covered fawn.

Thank you,it knew I was there, but it?s pretty used to me;it got up shortly after I took this, shook off the snow, then laid back down and curled up,it?s mother was about two feet away from it.

An unusual shot that is perfect for this contest. The exposure for the snow is excellent and the sleeping fawn is fantastic. Best of luck in the voting.

My heart goes out to this little
Fawn....she looks so cold and she's just a baby....
But it is an image that's appropriate and emotional at best. Perfect for the contest,
Wishing you all the best.

Great contest entry! The snow covered fawn is tying to conserve some energy and heat by taking a nap and ended up being covered by snow. Nice composition and details with a beautiful presentation.

A good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and central composition offers us a good look at the cold and snowy conditions over there. Hope things warm up soon! Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

These beauties just amaze me, especially during winter. Nicely exposed capture of this little fawn all bedded down in its natural surroundings. Focal richness really pulls the eye in, especially those eyelashes.

Many thanks, shortly after I took this,it got up, shook off the snow, and laid back down.

Ouch, I feel for that poor Fawn, seeing he/she is buried in that freezing snow. But the image, it does give that impression that it is freezing, so it conveys the message very clearly in an almost black and white picture devoid of much color, which also adds to the images quality. Great picture.

This little guy looks like a snow sculpture, but apparently sleep comfortable beneath is snow blanket. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the sharpness of detail and textures and the realism of color and light. The white balance is perfect. The framing is sufficient. The composition is balanced.
