Hello nikman, another amazing shot you have here. The view of this watchtower is great. The zoom and focus are great. The watchtower caught my attention because I was working on a piece with a watchtower. Great shot.

Beautiful capture of this lighthouse keeping it's solitary vigil. I really like the pastel hues in the sky and the slight reflection in the tidal pool. Excellent focus with nice detailing, like the texture of the sand and the water. Your nicely taken off center photo is a lovely entry for this contest, wish you all the best!

Beautiful work! The composition is balanced, the colors are gorgeous! Golden proportions of the sky and the sea and beach sand. The lighthouse add more interest to the seascape. Use of light is phenomenal! I see a possible contest ð??? winner!

The pastel colors in this are really good in fact i thought this was a painting more than a photo,i did wonder whether a vertical format would have suited this more, but think in this case does not matter, nice shot this...Brian

This is a gorgeous scene with the lighthouse well positioned on the left , the sky is gorgeous in the pinks and yellows , some silvery white moving up onto the blue. The water in the pale blue. Nice show of the black and the bit of green too. Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, colors and tones apoear true and natural, well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

An excellent image in every regard. The composition is elegant and the light is fantastic. Good detail in both the lighthouse and the sand bar.

What a delightful view of this beautiful lighthouse. The pastel colors go so good with this setting. The sky and the light hitting the side of the lighthouse is sooo nice.

Hey there again Nikman!
You always take pretty amazing photos of lighthouses and seascapes. The sky in this one does it for me. It is a fantastic background. The colors in the photo are soothing and place the viewer right in the middle of the scene. What a nice shot!

What a beautiful photo you have here. It looks very similar to painting my father did of a lighthouse a while back. The colors and lighting appear natural. The varying colors in the sky and a dreamy, serine feel to the photo. The many ripples going into the horizon of the sea also adds to the serenity of the photo. However on a closer inspection of the photo the patch of grass and a little bit of the sand appear very out of focus and/or pixelated. In my own opinion the patch grass looks as though it were "photoshoped in" as a texture or something. That was enlarged, but in the prosses of enlargement it was distorted. I have never used Photoshop so I would not know, however I have used lower grade software similar to Photoshop and have had things like what I described occur. I didn't take off any points because this may have been caused by resizing, compressing, or uploading the file. Which is not something you can really fix, to my knowledge. Also the lighthouse appears to be somewhat out of focus, and/or edited by a "smoothing brush". This may have been because of an edit or a compression field. It also my just be how you like it, and for those reasons I have not lowered my score. Other than those problems, which are only noticeable on a close inspection, this is a very nice photo. When I first saw it I thought the lighthouse was hovering in the air. Oh, the tricks ones eyes like to play.

I am very grateful for your very kind and comprehensive review! I have not put anything in, nor taken anything out using Photoshop. The issues you refer to have probably been caused by the low lighting conditions I took the photo.

Nice picture! It almost doesn't even look real just the way it sits alone in the water great job capturing all the little details already piece
