A very cute shot. The typical nuthatch pose is well captured and I like the way he has a sunflower seed in his beak. Well composed with good colors.

They are real acrobats these nuthatches, and this one for sure know how to get hold of seeds. You have pictured it so well, and I like very much the white snow as a background. The bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
The photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird. The exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good and the bird has got such a fine placement within the frame. I think this is a great looking and well taken photo Lee Ann, and with an excellent DOF.

Thanks for such a wonderfully detailed review;I was surprised that it didn?t seem concern that I was only a couple of feet away,I?m pretty sure this one would take seeds from hand after while.

Somtimes birds can do surprising things. Last summer I had a Magpie following me around the garden.

The nuthatches are so much fun to watch, they get into some of the most interesting positions. You have captured this one well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. I see good detail in feathers, face and beak, nice timing to capture it with a seed. Well composed and presented!
