Oh you know I had to stop and take we time for this six star. You are surely terrific with a camera. This is definitely such an awesome photograph what a pretty bird and it's great that you are educated about what's in your area. It helps me learn also. First of all, I want to congratulate you on your all time best status for this photo. It is perfect, actually, in every way. The way you brought the bird into total clarity, while making the background hazy is just brilliant. The colors jump from the frame and grab our attention. Excellent work.

Unique shot Pat and your timing as spot on,only thing is te berry is not 100% pinsharp not sure why what a miinor thing as its the timing issue thats the key in this one...Brian

A beautiful stop action picture of the Bohemian Waxwing it's beak open ready to catch the Rowan berry falling from above, with more berries hanging from the branch it is perched on. The blue sky providing a beautiful & contrasting backdrop for both the Waxwing & the berries.. the sunlight glowing from behind gives the bird s glowing halo of light around it that also highlights it's distinctive plumage. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
