A wonderful travel style photograph. The blue raft really draws your eye into the scene. Than all the different layers keeps you in the photo. Exposure and focus are very good too.

Oh goodness she must have had some biceps alright! I used to do a lot of rowing as a young person and I can really appreciate this. The colors in this shot are so picture perfect, with the blue raft blending into the shade of the distant blue mountains and the almost lilac grey tones of the trees and water; thanks for sharing!

good backdrop to this raftin fact the land behind seems to have different layers as if they have been painted on at different times,i know this is more to do with the raft,but to me i keep seeing beyond it...brian

That must have been amazing. I love the gradations of the trees in the background. Like a painting. Absolutely fantastic the way you managed to get that so perfectly. I am going to study that hard if you don't mind. At times a photographer sees better than a painter as in this case.

This is an interesting view on the Snake River, near Jackson Hole. The woman rowing is amazingly strong with all these people, maybe an Olympian.
Nice background details of the trees and the mountains. Good focus, clarity and placement.

Looks like a textural artwork Nik the colors are very pastel in the background and then the blue of the boat pops against the water. Nicely framed with good focus and dof.

The composition of this photo is very effective. I feel like I'm behind that rower, heading to the scenic shore. The entire photo does appear to be overexposed, however. Slightly darkening everything would add some depth and give it more appeal.

Nik,
A beautiful & interesting picture of this inflatable raft on the Snake River, near Jackson Hole Wyoming, filled with tourists & being propelled by the Lady Oar's woman standing in the stern using very long oars. The Aspens lining the river banks & covering the hillsides rising up from the river houses seen in the gaps between them. Some of the Aspens still dressed in their golden Autumnal foliage. The sky above overcast. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
