This is a wonderful contest entry for the macro photography with such a nice white frame and blue background; the snowflake is showing very nicely with was great details and white see-through colors.

Unlike my fellow FAR members I'm still reviewing folks work on the last day of the month. I reckon they figure it last day of the month and why bother...lol..the clarity is great. I like the blue tone. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of these snowflakes is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

Very cool that you captured a snow flake. So intricate. I like your choice of color background for it. It might stand out a bit more if it was a solid, non textured color blue.

I think you're right about the background. Sometimes you're so thrilled on the macro you're photographing you forget everything is enlarged. Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi
