Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Bohemian Waxwing puffed up as it perches head turned to watch you on the branch of your Rowan/ Mountain Ash Tree as the snow falls around them. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Lovely capture of the bird on branch with the speckles of snow around him - the colors are very natural and the focus on the eye of bird is sharp.

I see snowflakes falling down, but the bird seems not bothered by the weather. Looks as if the Waxwing fluffed itself up to stay warm. Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of light and color and the refinement of detail. The position of the bird on the bowed branch pleases the eyes of the viewer. The bird is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I'm sorry to hear that it was snowing ,Pat ( It's in the seventies and sunny down here! ), but I'm lovin' the photograph!
The poor bird looks bewildered,p****d off, discouraged, and perhaps vaguely hopeful all at the same time! And the picture's lighting and coloration look Perfect!
A 'Good Show' once again,my friend! : D

I particularly like the softness how this photograph is presented. I have never seen a real waxwing and I think this is very realistic almost 3D view. The soft snow fall is a bonus. Super focus and light management for fine details.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of your beautiful bird and its branch location. Like the tuft on its head and smooth feathers. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

A wonderful bird photo that has great focus and details. I love the gray tones and snowflakes that highlight the cold. The limb has given great accent and your presentation is well done. Great photo!

I love this one too Pat! Great timing to take the photograph of this Bohemian Waxwing - never have seen one before- with the snow falling and gently diffused, so suitable background.
Great details, focus and exposure and so nicely presented.
