I especially like the simplicity of this photo, and also the low key approach with the dark background. A few droplets looks nice, and the light is also falling on the lilac in such a lovely way. The blooms are standing out from the background in an excellent way.

The photo is very sharp, and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in all the blue blossoms. The exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is very good, and the cluster of blooms are well placed within the frame. I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I wish this was in my yard! We are having an extended winter here , it is snowing today!
These lilacs are gorgeous , you have photographed them so very well! I love the way they reach into the frame from top left, they are well focused, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, the pale blue tones appear natural. I see such good detail over every part of the three clusters of lilacs. The black background is working perfectly to showcase them, the raindrops further enhance the beauty as well as giving such a sense of freshness!
Well composed , they fill the frame nicely. Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
