I take it those black stumps are where deep water begins, as that is a beach. It does look spectacular. I have cousins, my mum's sister's children the only person on this planet who knew me and cared for me as a baby, before the russians exiled us, living there -and their children. I would just love to visit

My cousin is in charge of Security there now, he used to be Station Chief at the central police station. like me he is of the fair but firm ilk.

Great cityscape view with nice composition. Like teh dramatic cloud on the of the buildings which makes this capture very interesting. Water and shore also added some good perspective. The image looks little grainy, not sure if it is due to iso or some post processing effect. Otherwise its a good shot.

A beautiful & dramatic picture of dawn breaking over the Windy city of Chicago on the shore of Lake Michigan. The sun rising above the horizon colouring the sky above & behind the skyscrapers under the bank of rain clouds floating overhead. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
