Great shot, great picture. The colors of the sky are beautiful and the falls. I thought it was lava at first glance, but I can see the ice, wow! It looks like a painting, Great shot and so beautiful.

I have seen falls on tv in places which froze and turned to ice. Amazing phenomenon, and yet not really. I thought it was just this easter, but I was looking back at photos of Easter 2014 and the snow is lying deep on the ground.

Pat this is a beautiful view. Minor cropping is all that was needed here thus the reason for the 6. No fancy alterations or filters. Great textures. Great colors.
Beautiful detail. Great interest. The balance is gorgeous.

This is indeed a beautiful scene Pat, and the frozen falls are spectacular. The golden glow from the sunset looks fantastic, and I especially like how lovely it is reflected in the ice.
The photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details both in the frozen falls and the bush. The colors are crisp and clear, and the exposure is spot on.
The cropping is perfect, and with the falls placed off to the right, and the fine leading lines, it is a very good balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

This is an exciting scene of the Frozen Falls. Like your POV. I guess you couldn't resist the chance to get this shot! I completely understand, too bad its off the highway.
The sky is lovely with the purple, gold and yellow. There is definitely more than a chill in the air. The detail of the frozen falls is exciting to view. Freezing weather is hard to function in as I know having lived in Maine. Love the details of the rock formations and how the light
reflects upon it. Good focus, clarity, texture and exposure.
