I like the simplicity of your composition. The flower is stylish, but we see immediately that we look at a Poppy. The yellow center draws our eyes and then lead them to the petals. How the color changed from light pink to darker hues toward the outline is superb. The tall framing emphasizes the poppy profoundly. The drawing is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

I love poppies and can't wait until they start to bloom here!
This pink poppy is beautiful and very well rendered with realistic shape and structure. I like the way the stem curves slightly to place the bloom to the left .
Nice simple, yet effective piece , the pink tones are well applied.
