Nancy,
Beautiful picture, of this antique phone
That's just like the phone in my Mother's childhood home in the West of Ireland...it was still in use in 1969 situated in a drafty corridor I once made a call on it! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera & expert digital editing techniques & sharp focus.

Hi Susan, I bet this phone brought back some memories for you. I thought the phone was very unique. I'm glad I could take the dingy old look of it away and refresh the original beauty. Thank you so much for the lovely review! :o) Nancy

Oh Dear! I hope I didn't misguide you. This is a photo of a phone! :o) It is a Mixed Media photo. A mixed media photo is a photo where you add effects to give the original a new look. The original photo of the phone is in the right lower corner. The large photo image shows how I revitalized the original, by digitally painting over the phone, to take away the dingy look.. I hope that explanation helps. I also changed the background to a new one. Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi2

Your phone does not look dingy anymore, but new. It reminds me of items in old doll houses we sometimes see in antique stores. The dial is curious. I see the letters of the alphabet beside the numbers. Apparently your original photo is perfect focused and exposed. The mixed media treatment is expertly applied. The new background emphasizes the phone sufficiently. I enjoy the sharpness of detail. The phone is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Thanks My Friend! It was kind of hard to see such a charming phone in such a state. I loved the act that I could change that in bring the beauty and charm of the phone out. I added the original shot of the phone because I wanted viewers to know how you can change photos with mixed media and revive them. You actually get to see a transformation! I feel blessed you felt this deserved your highest rating! Thanks for absolutely making my day!!!! :o) :o) :o) Nancy

Hi Brenda, This phone had a charming look to me and I just had to take a picture of it even though the original shot was quite grungy. I'm glad you enjoyed the new look! Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi

Very interesting antique phone, I have a replica of a phone similar to this.
I like that you show the before and after allowing us to see how you transformed this phone , giving it a brand new look!
The blue background works well allowing the phone to be viewed without distraction, it's so well focused and clear, I can read the numbers on the rotary dial.
Well composed and presented!

Hi Pat, Sounds like you found the same charm I found in the phone. I wanted the phone to be as close as I could get to the original. By allowing you to see it, you'd know what I had to do to get it looking new. I was happy with the results and am happy that you like them too. Thanks for the great review! :o) Nancy

Pretty cool presentation Nancy.. shipping shows I'll get my Cpu tower by Wednesday..I'll be hollering at everyone by then..can't wait till it comes in..the angle of the shot of this old stylish phone is great. I like the blue burst for the background. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The creation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative approach and awesome work overall
