Red is a color which always demands attention. This toadstool seems to warn everybody of the deadly poison it contains despite the beautiful appearance. The close-up is well focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realism of color and light. The Toadstool is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

I think this is a fine entry into a contest like this, and you have pictured this good looking red mushroom so well. The light is falling on it in a lovely way, and is also standing out well from the softened background.
The photo is quite sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the mushroom. The red color is crisp and clear, and the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is perfect, and the centered position of the mushroom is working well. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
