Wet road in Adrian, Texas

It is exactly these long, long, wide roads which give English people living over there heart aches. Being used to small, curly, wurly roads, which follow the houses, instead of houses which follow the roads. You have really captured it with this road. My own daughter in law complained of that, and left the USA for good. I don't drive so it never bothered me. As a walker and cyclist, I wound round every sort of corners!

I really like this straight shot of the pic and how everything gets smaller into the distance..your creativity is truly remarkable. I also like the water on the road and the reflection it gives off, texture is awsome, the light and dark color tones in the clouds are beautiful.outstanding job!

This is a dimensional success. I like that centre V by road and by verges. The colours are garry and complimentary... your sharp eye saw the verge yellow I am sure as a complimentry angle to the middle of the road stripe. The posts are like pointers and are caught as reflections in that glistening wet road. A very well done creative shot.

A very nice shot that captures the desolation of this place beautifully. I like the view along the "yellow line" and the reflections in the puddles.

This road looks like a step into the past. Great perspective going on forever! Good details of the
wet road, puddles and the gray sky creating a lone feeling to the picture.
Good focus, clarity and tone.
Nice exposure.

Dear Nik,
This is a wonderful photo reflecting the linear perspective. It is basic and profound. I love the look of country town. The wet asphalt and gray sky add to the mood.

Nik,
An interesting picture of the road through Texas that looks flatter than a "pancake" from where you are standing to infinity on the horizon the street lamps reflected in the puddles & the trees on either side adding splashes of green & interesting shapes framing the road. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques. This makes East Anglia look hilly!

Nice photograph of a road that shows the water on the road clearly divided with the middle yellow line.
Clear picture with some reflections in the back and correspondingly grey sky, allowing to show the rainy day.
Nice details and depth of the focus in this photograph.
